In 2017, one of our Agrimac North employees suggested Mountain Biking as a team building exercise. What was planned as a one-off team building trip to Sherwood Pines, introduced us all to a whole new community and showed us, we had found something the whole team could be involved in.
Soon, we were organising regular Agrimac North group rides, mainly mountain biking but we did also try some road and gravel rides.
After seeing the positive effect of cycling on our team, and the number of staff cycles grow, we soon realised there was a vacancy for someone to provide cycle maintenance to our team. Already being highly skilled in the maintenance of a variety of vehicles and machines, we decided the obvious way to meet this requirement, was to offer team members the chance for additional training in this area – an opportunity that our passionate crew jumped at.
